At Cause Catalyst, we’ve designed a simple and transparent process to ensure that every nominee receives the recognition they deserve. Whether you’re nominating a visionary nonprofit leader, an outstanding organization, or a groundbreaking initiative, we’ve made it easy to submit your nomination and support their journey. Here’s how you can get involved and help celebrate excellence in the nonprofit sector.
Organization of the Year
(Nomination Fee: $250)
This award recognizes a nonprofit organization that has demonstrated exceptional service, innovation, and a tangible impact on their community. The winning organization should be committed to their mission and have a track record of success.
Nominate an organization Executive of the Year
(Nomination Fee: $100)
This prestigious award honors a nonprofit leader whose vision, leadership, and dedication have inspired change and growth in their organization and the community. Nominations should highlight leadership skills, innovation, and significant impact.
Nominate an executive The Catalyst Award
(Nomination Fee: $50)
This is the wildcard category, open to any nonprofit initiative, project, team, or individual whose work has gone above and beyond in creating lasting impact, inspiring others, or pioneering new approaches to social change.(The name “Catalyst Award” reflects a key concept in nonprofit work—being a catalyst for change!)

Simple steps to honor outstanding nonprofit leaders and organizations
Step 1: Nominate
Choose the award category that best fits your nominee (Executive of the Year, Organization of the Year, or The Catalyst Award). Nominations will be accepted until September 1, 2025.
Complete the nomination form and submit the required nomination fee.

Step 2: Receive Nomination Packet
After submitting your nomination, the nominee will receive an email and a physical nomination packet with a small gift. They will also have the opportunity to be featured on our Nominee page.
Step 3: Provide 3 References
The nominee will be asked to gather 3 references to support your nomination. The references should speak to the nominee's impact, leadership, and achievements. They will submit reference information as instructed in the reference form.
Step 4: Candidacy Assessment
Our panel of judges will evaluate all nominations and reference materials. Winners will be announced on October 15, 2025 after careful consideration of all submitted information.
Step 5: Winner Selection
Once the winners are selected, you’ll be notified via email, and the awards will be mailed directly to the recipients. We’ll ensure that the honorees receive their recognition in a timely and meaningful way.
